Birthday wishes, butterfly kisses

So currently it looks like when I go to Iraq, Rob and AJ will be going to NY to live with my father. So plans have shifted again. We gave Florida a shot but its not working. In the end you need family and friends.

My 23rd birthday. Not really a milestone. I went to work. Got some cards in the mail and headed out to dinner. I just didn't feel like cooking. Rob, AJ and I went to Macaroni Grill, got a smoothie and headed to Target for bottled water for preparation for Hurricane Fay. My dad, Tia, and Nawny sent me a card with $$$ in it but Im not trying to spend it on stupid stuff. Of course my lover Stephanie sent me this great package in the mail. Of course it made me ball my eyes out. She really is the best. Other than that it was just a regular day. Next years bday will be spent in the desert.

Drill weekend went pretty well. The mornings started early but it wasn't as bad as I thought it might be. I gave a class to about 200 Marines on audits. Powerpoint and everything. They also had to take a PFT. It's amazing how out of shape they are. Geez I hope I don't get like that when I am a Reservist. Unfortunatley with this stupid storm they closed work and made us use our comp days for it. Luckily the weekend is approaching.

While an attempt was made to grow out my hair I just cannot do it while Im on Active Duty. So it will be kept short for awhile. The people I used to babysit are down and I havent been able to see them =(

I've been in such a mood lately.YUCK! There hasn't been too much to look forwad to. I guess you could call it a rut.

Fed up with Florida

 

So I had to work Rob's Bday but I think I made up for it that following week. Wednesday Rob, AJ and I got up early and headed off to Disney's Magic Kingdom for the day. It was fabulous and AJ loved it. It really was exited to see all the characters and we went on over 20 attractions. Awesome right? Plus we saw the parade on Main Street. Thursday AJ went to daycare and Rob and I headed off to Aquatica. Seaworld's waterpark. It was a lot of fun. Kind of expensive but we did ever attraction there was. I brought my camera and got some good picks. To bad Im too fat too post them. Friday we left around 1 and headed to Clearwater. We had a great weekend there. I definitley want to go to more places on the coast. Im thinking a weekend in Key West.

So Rob and I were talking and I think we might be moving bad to NY. FL is beautiful but we have no one to share this wonderful place. Plus with Rob's new job we really dont get out much.

August is my birthday month, my mom's anniversary and drill weekend is the 16th&17th. We dont really have any plans but I found out today some family friends of mine will be in FL the 15ththru the 23 so I plan on meeting up with them while they are down here.

I was planning cutting my hair short but Im thinking of growing it back out. If it gets annoying I can always cut it short. Im at the fatest I have been in years (pregnancy not included).Hopefully I can snap out of this mood soon.

AJ is doing great. He's been so helpful. We started doing alphabet letters and writing numbers. We still try and read about 20 minutes every night. Since Rob is gone at night I try to fill my nights up with as much productivity as possible.

Rob pretty much works, sleeps works out, takes care of aj and works more. Hopefully he can get rid of this second job soon. He has some huge perks with this job so hopefully we take advantage of it while we live down here.

Training starts soon. Im training for PFT for the next two months and then we have Rob's family coming down. Then I leave for Jacksonville, FL for weapons traing and head straight to 29 Palms, CA for CAX training.

Well I gotta get AJ ready for bed. night night.
